As part of the World Prematurity Day observance, the Department of Pediatric Nursing within the Faculty of Health Sciences at Lokman Hekim University will organize an event titled “Current Practices in Neonatal Intensive Care Units.”
The event will take place on Friday, November 21, 2025, at the LHU A Block, Basement Floor Conference Hall, bringing together academics, nurses, and healthcare professionals to discuss the latest developments and interdisciplinary approaches in neonatal intensive care.
Opening remarks will be delivered by Prof. Dr. Belgin Nalçacı Akın, Prof. Dr. Esin Koç, Prof. Dr. Hicran Çavuşoğlu, Prof. Zehra GÖLBAŞI, and Dr. Mehmet ALTUĞ
Presentations by Assoc. Prof. Müjde Çalıkuşu İNCEKAR, Assoc. Prof. Gülsüm Kadıoğlu ŞİMŞEK, Nurse Hatice POLAT, and Nurse Mesude ÖZBİLGE will highlight contemporary examples from neonatal intensive care practices.
The event will conclude with a discussion session and a guided tour of the Vital Simulation Center.
