2025-2026 Academic Year Spring Semester GNO (Inter-Institutional-Intra-Institutional) and Central Placement Score (under Additional Article-1) and Horizontal Transfer Applications

If the student's central placement (ÖSYM) score in the year they enrolled is equal to or higher than the base score of the program they wish to transfer to, the student may apply for a horizontal transfer, including preparatory classes, intermediate classes, and final classes, regardless of their academic performance and program equivalence.

The "Regulations on Transfer Between Associate and Bachelor's Degree Programs in Higher Education Institutions, Double Major, Minor, and Inter-Institutional Credit Transfer“ published in the Official Gazette dated 24.04.2010 and numbered 27561, states in the second paragraph of Article 7 that ”The criteria to be used in the evaluation of horizontal transfer applications and the minimum conditions required for horizontal transfer shall be determined by the university senates."

Application

Applications for horizontal transfer with GNO (Inter-Institutional-Institutional) and Central Placement Score (under Additional Article-1) for the Spring Semester of the 2025-2026 Academic Year will begin on January 7, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.

Applications will be made online; applications submitted in person or by mail will not be accepted.

In order for the application to be evaluated, the specified documents must be uploaded to the online application system by the application deadline. Applications with missing documents will not be evaluated.
