Information Regarding the Turkish Language Placement Exam
Attention International Students Enrolling in Turkish Language Programs for the 2025-26 Academic Year!
Dear Students,
The Turkish Language Placement Exam will be held in person on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at 10:00 AM.
Exam Location: B Block – 8th Floor, Room 805
The exam consists of 60 multiple-choice questions and includes questions at the A1, A2, B1, B2, and C1 levels. After this session, participants' writing and speaking skills will be assessed.
Information about the Turkish Language Level Placement Exam:
For students enrolled at our university:
Lokman Hekim University students who wish to take the exam must apply by filling out the required information at the registration link below. The deadline for exam applications is Monday, September 1, 2025, at 2:00 PM.
Students must have their passport, student ID, pen, and eraser with them during the exam.
Students will be placed in the class that will be opened according to the level determined by the exam results.
Exam results will be announced one day after the exam date. Students who score 70 or above on this exam will be eligible to take the Turkish Proficiency Exam. Students who score 70 or above on this Proficiency Exam will be exempt from Turkish preparatory education. For other students, the level (A1, A2, B1, B2) they will start in the LHÜ Preparatory Program will be determined based on the number of questions they answer correctly on the exam.
The Turkish Language Proficiency Test will be administered free of charge to students who have completed their final registration at Lokman Hekim University.
No make-up exams will be held for students who do not take these exams on the specified dates. Students who do not take the Proficiency Test will be required to take Turkish Preparatory Education starting at the most basic level.
Students wishing to take the exam can request an appointment by sending their passport, bank receipt, and signed application form, indicating the date they wish to take the exam, to dilmer@lokmanhekim.edu.tr by 2:00 PM on Monday, September 1, 2025.
The exam registration process will be completed by sending a confirmation message to the student.
Students must have their passport, pen, and eraser with them during the exam.
The exam fee for students not enrolled at our university is 1500 TL.
Those who wish to take the exam must send the receipt and other necessary documents for the exam to dilmer@lokmanhekim.edu.tr and write “LHÜ Dilmer Exam Fee” in the description section.
