The Academic Writing Workshop organized by Lokman Hekim University Language Teaching Application and Research Center (LHUDİLMER) will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. in classroom B904, Block B, LHÜ. The event is designed for all participants who wish to enhance their academic writing skills, particularly students seeking to improve their English writing skills before the Erasmus exam.
Purpose and Content of the Event
The workshop aims to strengthen participants' academic writing skills by explaining the basic principles and techniques of the academic writing process. Throughout the program, paragraph structure, text coherence, academic style, argumentation methods, and points to consider when using sources will be discussed.
The event will also include practical writing exercises to prepare for the Erasmus English exam, and participants will receive one-on-one feedback on their texts. This will allow for an assessment of students' current writing proficiency, with concrete suggestions for areas needing improvement.
