General Information
The traditional student panel titled "Critical Case Management in the Emergency Department," organized in collaboration with Lokman Hekim University Faculty of Medicine Evidence-Based Medicine Student Society and the Faculty of Medicine Scientific Research Society, will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at LHÜ Block A, Floor -1.
Purpose and Scope

The event will take place in the Floor Conference Hall.

The aim of the panel is to ensure the rapid, accurate evaluation of critical cases encountered in the emergency department.

It seeks to improve clinical decision-making processes.

The panel provides a platform for students to discuss the fundamental principles of emergency medicine applications with a holistic perspective.

The event offers an academic environment designed to strengthen decision-making skills through discussions based on real-life case studies.
Organization and Leadership

Honorary Presidents: Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih GÜLTEKİN and Faculty of Medicine Dean Prof. Dr. Mehmet DOĞANAY.

Panel Presidents: Cemre DAL (President of the Evidence-Based Medicine Student Society) and Ayşenur TUKAOĞLU (President of the Scientific Research Society).

Coordination and Organization: Asst. Prof. Aslı TÜRKMEN DEMİR, Year VI Turkish Program Student Representative, Merve Nur YILMAZ, and Year IV English Program Student Representative Yiğit KİLTAN.
Participation and Submissions

The final session of the student panel is dedicated to the presentation of studies conducted by students of the Faculty of Medicine.

Students are expected to submit their presentation abstracts (no more than 350 words) to the panel coordinators by March 15, 2026.

The panel is open to all Faculty of Medicine students and relevant faculty members.

Participation certificates will be awarded to both speakers and attendees.

The organizers believe the panel will succeed with your participation and academic support.
