Horizon Europe Health Cluster Information and Training Program Successfully Completed

Organized by the Faculty of Pharmacy at Lokman Hekim University, the “Horizon Europe Health Cluster Information and Training Program” was successfully completed on Monday, December 8, 2025.

The event, which was held in the Conference Hall on the 1st floor of Block A at LHÜ, was an important training program aimed at strengthening our university's research ecosystem and increasing its capacity to access international funding.

Program Purpose and Scope

The training was planned exclusively for academic staff and was directly linked to strategic goals such as increasing research and innovation capacity, developing nationally and internationally funded projects, and raising the university's level of internationalization. The program provided a detailed introduction to the general structure of the Horizon Europe Health Cluster, its priority thematic areas, and the application processes. Participants were provided with practical information on call application processes, consortium formation methods, and project implementation principles.

The event was attended by academics aiming to prepare projects for national and international funding programs, faculty members planning to use Horizon Europe support in their research activities, and academic staff actively involved in project development processes. Evaluations and Recommendations Presented in the Training

Participants received evaluations on how institutional research activities can be aligned with European Union funding mechanisms. In addition, various recommendations were made to enable academic staff to be effectively involved in the application processes.

Lokman Hekim University succeeded in increasing its academic staff's access to European Union research funds, supporting project generation capacity, and strengthening international visibility through this training program.
