On November 8, 2025, the conference titled "Designing Your Future Classroom: Reflections from the ISTE 2025 Conference" was organized by Lokman Hekim University Language Teaching Application and Research Center (DİLMER) under the direction of DİLMER Director Dr. Gohar SEYEDİ and sponsored by the U.S. Embassy Regional English Language Office (RELO).
The event attracted significant interest from English teaching staff and prospective English teachers working at the Schools of Foreign Languages at universities in Ankara. The event provided invited speakers from Lokman Hekim University, Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Çankaya University, Dokuz Eylül University, İzmir Bakırçay University, and Atatürk University with the opportunity to discuss new trends in educational technology through interactive presentations, sessions, and hands-on activities at the 2025 ISTE (International Society for Technology in Education) Conference, which is known as the world's largest educational technology conference held annually in the United States.
Throughout the program, teachers and teacher candidates participated in interactive sessions on designing classrooms of the future, finding opportunities to adapt the experiences gained from the ISTE 2025 Conference to their local contexts. The event was considered an important step in promoting technology-based innovations in English language teaching and supporting digital transformation in education.
