Our esteemed academic staff member Dr. Gökçen DOĞAN from the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics at our university has been accepted as a “working group member” in the COST project titled “CA21122-Promoting Geriatric Medicine in Countries Where It Is Still Emerging (PROGRAMMING).” The aim of this project is to define the content of targeted education and training activities in geriatric medicine (GM) for healthcare professionals in various clinical settings, tailored to countries where GM is still emerging and adapted to the local context, stakeholders' needs and resources, and the pragmatic possibilities of the relevant environments. We congratulate our distinguished academic and wish them continued success.
