The White Coat Ceremony, which represents an important step in the professional journey of Lokman Hekim University Faculty of Pharmacy students, will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. in the MTA Sadrettin Alpan Conference Hall.
In pharmacy education, the white coat is considered a symbol of a professional approach that is meticulous, attentive, and committed to ethical principles, reminding students of their responsibilities in the field of medicine and health. This ceremony represents a meaningful beginning, strengthening our students' sense of belonging to the pharmacy profession and making their professional identity visible.
Program Flow
The ceremony will be attended by Pharmacy Faculty academics, students, and families. The program will begin with opening speeches by the university and faculty administration, which will include brief assessments of the fundamental approach to pharmacy education, expectations of students, and the current status of the profession.
Afterwards, our students will take a step into a new phase of their professional education by donning their white coats accompanied by faculty members. The ceremony will conclude with a short oath section emphasizing the students' sense of responsibility towards the profession and a group photo session.
