A doctoral dissertation titled “The Effect of a Self-Efficacy-Based Couple Birth Preparation Program on Fear of Birth, Self-Efficacy, Mode of Delivery, and Birth Outcomes: A Randomized Controlled Trial”, conducted within the Lokman Hekim University Graduate School of Health Sciences, Department of Nursing, Doctoral Program in Obstetrics and Gynecology Nursing, has been recognized with an award at the 3rd International and 5th National Birth Preparation Education and Training Congress.
Held between 23–26 October 2025 at La Blanche Island Bodrum, the study presentation earned the Third Prize for Best Oral Presentation.
Supervised by Prof. Dr. Zehra Gölbaşı and prepared by Research Assistant Dr. Fatma Nur Duman, the dissertation investigates the effects of self-efficacy-based and couple-participatory birth preparation programs on fear of childbirth, self-efficacy levels, mode of delivery, and overall birth outcomes.
