Lokman Hekim University made history on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, by hosting an unforgettable festival on campus: LHUFEST 2025! This first-ever spring festival brought the joy of spring to campus, putting smiles on the faces of everyone from students to faculty members. Held in the C Block area from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, the festival offered a perfect blend of fun and socializing on a sunny day.
Organized with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and UNIDES, the event was prepared in collaboration with Lokman Hekim University Youth Office, Chamber Music Ensemble, and other student groups. Setting the bar high in its very first year, LHUFEST transformed the campus into a festival with its vibrant atmosphere and packed program.
Throughout the festival, participants enjoyed concerts, a Kahoot competition, a book hunt, a chess tournament, a bag painting workshop, Zumba shows, table tennis, and dart tournaments. Traditional games were not forgotten at the festival, with fun activities such as tug-of-war attracting great interest.
Beloved artists Ebu Doğan and Berkay Altunyay took the stage and energized the crowd. The Chamber Music Ensemble, with its vibrant energy, truly captured the spirit of the festival.
Participants emphasized that LHUFEST is not just a celebration but also a social gathering that breathes life into university life. Students who said, “We are eagerly awaiting the next edition of this festival,” expressed their desire for this first event to become a tradition.
Despite being the first of its kind in Lokman Hekim University history, LHUFEST 2025 has already made its mark as an unforgettable event thanks to its high energy, rich content, and social atmosphere. The countdown to the next LHUFEST has already begun!
