Applied studies aimed at developing teaching methods in nursing education offer important learning areas that enhance the quality of professional education at universities. In this context, the event planned within the framework of the Nursing Education course conducted by the Nursing Department of the Faculty of Health Sciences at Lokman Hekim University was a high-quality academic gathering that showcased students' pedagogical knowledge and skills.
Event Held with High Participation
The “Educational Material Exhibition and Competition” organized by the Department of Nursing, Faculty of Health Sciences, was held with high participation in the C Block Foyer Area on Friday, December 26, 2025. In addition to academic and administrative staff, a large number of students participated in the event.
Students' Original Works Were Exhibited
Within the scope of the event, original educational materials prepared by students for use in nursing education were exhibited. Creative and application-oriented works that support the teaching process were evaluated in a competition format. The exhibited materials attracted attention in terms of revealing the students' pedagogical perspectives and instructional design skills.
Contribution to Education and Professional Development
The event, which aimed to develop teaching methods in nursing education, contributed to strengthening students' presentation, evaluation, and educational material development skills.
The event, coordinated by Asst. Prof. Beratîye ÖNER and Asst. Prof. İlknur MARAŞLI, created a productive academic environment where participants exchanged views. It was emphasized that the event was an important practical example of strengthening quality nursing education.
