Lokman Hekim University 2025 Graduation Ceremony Held with Joy and Pride
Lokman Hekim University bid farewell to its graduates of the 2024-2025 academic year with great excitement and pride. The Graduation Ceremony, held between June 30 and July 1, 2025, took place at the Haydar Aliyev Park Open Amphitheater in Batıkent, Ankara, with a large turnout.
During the two-day ceremony, our students graduating from different faculties and colleges of our university, our academics, and their families enjoyed the excitement of graduation to the fullest.
Ceremony Program:
On Monday, June 30, 2025, the ceremonies began in the morning with the graduates of the Faculty of Medicine receiving their diplomas. Following them, students from the Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, and Faculty of Sports Sciences received their graduation certificates and tossed their caps into the sky.
On Tuesday, July 1, 2025, students from the Faculty of Health Sciences and the Health Services Vocational School took the stage to share their graduation excitement.
All graduation ceremonies were live-streamed on Lokman Hekim University's official YouTube channel, attracting significant interest from families and loved ones who were unable to attend the ceremony.
In his opening speech, Lokman Hekim University Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih GÜLTEKİN emphasized the hard work and dedication of the students, saying:
"Today, we are not just presenting diplomas; we are presenting knowledge, hard work, sacrifice, and the fulfillment of dreams. As members of the Lokman Hekim University family, you will carry the light of science, the responsibility for human health, and the commitment to universal values to every corner of society. May your path be clear and your future bright."
Then, Lokman Hekim University Board of Trustees President Dr. Mehmet ALTUĞ took the stage and addressed the young graduates, saying:
“Today, we are proud of your achievements and, as Lokman Hekim University, we are delighted to once again contribute to society by equipping individuals with hope, knowledge, and healthcare services. Graduation is not an end but a new beginning. Remember that you are not only graduates of this university but also its voluntary ambassadors. As you pursue your scientific endeavors, never overlook your moral responsibilities.”
At the ceremony, which was attended by our university's distinguished academic staff, our students shared the pride of the years spent gaining knowledge and the joy of reaping the fruits of their academic efforts alongside their mentors.
As Lokman Hekim University, we congratulate all our graduates and wish them health, success, and happiness on this new journey. We hope that the graduation ceremony marks the beginning of a new era in which our young people will contribute to science, humanity, and our country.
