Lokman Hekim University participated in the Erbil Turkish Universities Fair 2026, held on July 11, 2026, in Erbil, Iraq.
The fair brought together Turkish universities and prospective international students interested in pursuing higher education in Türkiye. Throughout the event, Lokman Hekim University provided information about its academic programs, health-focused education model, hands-on learning opportunities, services for international students, and campus life.
High-Level Visits to the University Stand
During the fair, the Lokman Hekim University stand was visited by Mr. Erman Topçu, Consul General of Türkiye in Erbil; Mr. Kemal Bahadır, Commercial Attaché in Erbil; Mr. Ersan Ağa, Undersecretary to the President of the Kurdistan Regional Government; and Mr. Murat İmadettin, President of the Türkmeneli Students and Youth Union.
The visits provided an opportunity to discuss Lokman Hekim University’s internationalization efforts, its academic structure in the field of health sciences, and potential education-focused collaborations for prospective students in the region.
Meeting with Maarif Agency Representatives
As part of the fair program, representatives of Lokman Hekim University also met with Mr. Fahreddin Keskin and Mr. Ali Arıkmer, Country Representatives of Maarif Agency.
The meeting focused on student guidance for those wishing to study in Türkiye, international student recruitment processes, and possible communication and promotional activities in the field of higher education.
