Lokman Hekim University successfully hosted the TEKPOTA PUBLIC Tournament, bringing together representatives from the public and private sectors in Ankara. This year's tournament, which was filled with excitement, once again demonstrated the unifying power of sports and friendly competition between institutions.
The basketball tournament was held at prestigious venues such as the NFİT Sports Center and Ankara Arena, two of Ankara's most important sports facilities. Teams from leading public and private sector institutions, particularly from the defense industry, competed fiercely in the tournament.
TUSAŞ Wins the Championship
After intense matches, the champion of the tournament was TUSAŞ (Turkish Aerospace Industries Inc.). Second place went to Aselsan, while third place was awarded to Elini Uzat Association, known for its social responsibility projects.
High-Level Attendance at the Final Match
The final match of the tournament saw a high turnout. Lokman Hekim University Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih GÜLTEKİN, Board of Trustees Chairman Dr. Mehmet ALTUĞ, and Ankara Provincial Director of Youth and Sports Mustafa ÇELİK watched the final match from the sidelines and supported the athletes. Following the final match, awards were presented to the winning teams.
