1- FOR PROFESSOR POSITIONS (Application Form). (Minimum Criteria Statement - Turkish Section), (Minimum Criteria Statement - English Section)

Candidates applying for professor positions must submit their curriculum vitae (in YÖK format), two (2) photographs, a copy of their identity card, a document certifying their military service status, and certified copies of their bachelor's, master's, doctoral, or specialist degree certificates and associate professorship certificate (notarized or accompanied by the original and a copy, which may be approved by our University) and six (6) portable storage devices (containing the associate professorship foreign language certificate, diploma samples, CV, publication list, and scientific studies and publications) to the University Personnel Affairs Coordination Office in person or by mail.

Additionally, in accordance with Article 14 of the “Regulations on Promotion and Appointment to Academic Positions,” they must specify their main research works in the publication list.

2- FOR ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR POSITIONS (Application Letter) and (Minimum Criteria Statement - Turkish Section), (Minimum Criteria Statement - English Section)

Candidates applying for associate professor positions must submit their curriculum vitae (in YÖK format), two (2) photographs, a copy of their identity card, a document proving their military service status, and certified copies of their bachelor's, master's, doctoral, or specialist degree certificates and associate professorship certificate (notarized or accompanied by the original and a copy, which may be approved by our University) and four (4) portable storage devices (containing the associate professorship foreign language certificate, diploma samples, curriculum vitae, publication list, and scientific work and publications) must be submitted in person or by mail to the University Personnel Affairs Coordination Office.

3- FOR DOCTORAL FACULTY MEMBERS (Application Form) and (Minimum Criteria Statement - Turkish Section), (Minimum Criteria Statement - English Section)

Candidates applying for Doctoral Faculty Member positions must submit their curriculum vitae (in YÖK format), two (2) photographs, a copy of their identity card, a document certifying their military service status, and certified copies of their bachelor's, master's, doctorate, and specialization certificates (notarized copies or copies accompanied by the originals, which may be approved by our University) and four (4) portable storage devices (containing foreign language certificates, diploma samples, CV, publication list, scientific work, and publications) to the University Personnel Affairs Coordination Office in person or by mail.

4- FOR LECTURERS AND RESEARCH ASSISTANTS (Application Form),

1- Application form (The application form must clearly state the position applied for, the unit, the title, and the applicant's contact information (address, telephone number, e-mail, etc.).

2- Copy of ID card,

3- Curriculum Vitae (in YÖK format),

4- For male applicants, a document indicating discharge, deferment, or exemption from military service (barcoded from e-government),

5- Certified copies of undergraduate and graduate diplomas or barcoded e-government printouts (notarized or accompanied by the original copies, which may be approved by our university), and a student certificate if graduate studies are ongoing

6- Copy of the document proving the equivalence of foreign higher education institution diplomas by the Inter-University Council (certified document)

7- Official transcripts (related to undergraduate education) (certified document)

8- ALES certificate

9- 2 photographs (taken within the last six months)

10- Foreign Language Certificate

11- Document proving work experience (to be obtained depending on the position advertised) (certified document)

12- Social Security Institution service record (barcoded from e-government) or Service Certificate obtained from the Service Tracking Program (HİTAP) (to be submitted by those currently employed in a public institution or those who have resigned) (certified document)

13- Criminal record (barcoded from e-government)

General conditions 
(1) In appointments to teaching staff positions covered by this Regulation;
a) Meet the conditions specified in Article 48 of the Civil Servants Law No. 657, 
b) Have obtained a minimum score of 70 in the ALES exam, or a minimum score of 50 in a central foreign language exam recognized by the Higher Education Council, or an equivalent score in an exam recognized as equivalent. For those requesting exemption from the central exam, the ALES score will be considered as 70 in both the preliminary and final evaluation stages.
 
(2) Except for teaching staff positions in the fields of specialization determined by the Higher Education Council for vocational higher education institutions, universities and high technology institutes may, by senate decision, set a minimum score above the ALES and foreign language score thresholds specified in this Regulation.
 
(3) The equivalence of the 4-point and 5-point grading systems used in calculating the undergraduate degree grade in the preliminary and final evaluation stages to the 100-point grading system is determined by the Higher Education Council. The equivalence of other grading systems to the 100-point grading system is determined by the senates of higher education institutions.
Special conditions 
(1) Candidates applying for the position of instructor must have at least a master's degree with thesis.
Exemption
 
(1) The central examination requirement is waived for those who have completed a doctorate or specialization in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, or veterinary medicine, those who will be appointed to specialization areas determined by the Higher Education Council for vocational schools, and those who have worked or are currently working in teaching staff positions at higher education institutions.
 
(2) The foreign language requirement shall not be sought in applications for teaching staff positions at vocational schools, except for teaching positions covered by the fourth paragraph of Article 6 of this Regulation.
NOTE: 
Doctorate, associate professorship, and professorship diplomas and titles obtained from foreign countries must be recognized as equivalent by the Inter-University Council.
Employees of any public institution (even if they have previously worked and left) must attach to their application documents a certified service certificate from their institution stating their disciplinary investigation history and reason for leaving, as well as their military service status documents.
 
If the original and a photocopy of the documents requested with notary approval are submitted, our University may issue a “true copy” approval.
 
All contact information (mobile, work, home phone, and email address) of the applicant must be specified in the application letter.
 
Applications may be submitted in person or by mail. Applications submitted by mail after 5:00 PM on the deadline date will not be considered.
