As Lokman Hekim University, we are delighted that the 35th Annual Congress of the Turkish Society of Neuroradiology, chaired by Prof. Dr. E. Turgut TALI, one of our university's academics, was successfully held with record attendance and high scientific content.
This comprehensive scientific gathering, which included a total of 360 participants from different universities in Turkey and abroad, with contributions from 82 speakers and session chairs, provided an important platform for current developments in the field with its rich program covering all subfields of diagnostic and interventional neuroradiology. The presentation format of the 99 accepted oral and poster presentations was a strong indicator of scientific quality and academic selectivity.
In particular, the evaluation of the reflections of artificial intelligence applications in the field of neuroradiology, the industry meetings showcasing the latest technology devices and software, and the sharing of the most up-to-date approaches to intravascular interventional applications demonstrated that the congress offered not only theoretical but also application-oriented content. Live case sessions, where simultaneous procedures performed by teams from different centers were brought to the congress hall and discussed in real time, exemplified an organization where scientific interaction occurred at the highest level.
The “Masters and Youngsters in Interventional Neuroradiology” sessions attracted attention as a concrete reflection of experience transfer and academic continuity. In addition, the joint session held with the participation of the Azerbaijan Radiology Association contributed to strengthening international scientific cooperation.
We would like to thank Prof. Dr. E. Turgut Talı, the Turkish Neuroradiology Association management, and all the scientists who contributed to this important organization, which added value to the field with its scientific quality, diversity of participants, and innovative content. We hope that the congress will yield beneficial results for our country and the international neuroradiology community.
