    Prof. Dr. İlkay Erdoğan Orhan, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Lokman Hekim University, has been elected as a member of the Management Board of the International Science Council (ISC) European Group during a meeting organized by the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences in Stockholm. Orhan, who is the first pharmacist to be appointed to this significant role, has achieved a remarkable success on behalf of our country and university in the international scientific community.
    Founded in 1931, the International Science Council (ISC) is recognized as an independent organization that promotes the production and sharing of scientific knowledge worldwide. The Council leads important projects aimed at supporting the advancement of scientific research and strengthening global collaborations. Board members are carefully selected based on their scientific contributions and leadership qualities.
    Orhan's international work in the field of pharmacy and her scientific leadership played a crucial role in her election to this prestigious position. She stated, "I am very happy to be the first pharmacist elected to this position and to represent Turkey," emphasizing the importance of this achievement for the Turkish scientific community.
