Organized by the Department of Audiology at Lokman Hekim University, the “Hearing for Life” exhibition will be held in recognition of World Hearing Day on 3 March.
The exhibition aims to highlight the vital role of hearing in overall quality of life and to emphasize the importance of protecting hearing health at every stage of life.
A Lifelong Perspective on Hearing Health
Hearing loss is not limited to older age; it requires early screening, proper monitoring, and preventive awareness from infancy onward. The exhibition will present visual materials addressing early diagnosis, risk factors, preventive strategies, and rehabilitation processes.
Participants will also gain general information about hearing technologies and supportive devices.
Awareness and Social Responsibility
“Hearing for Life” seeks not only to inform but also to build awareness regarding hearing health. Topics such as noise exposure, healthy ear habits, and the importance of early screening will be addressed.
The event invites the university community and visitors to adopt a more conscious approach toward lifelong hearing health.
