To the Attention of Candidate Students to Lokman Hekim University English Medium Programs (Medicine and Pharmacy)
(About Language Proficiency Exemptions)
According to Article 10, Item 5b of the Lokman Hekim University English Preparatory Program and Examination Directive:
(2) The following students are exempt from the placement test and proficiency exam offered by Lokman Hekim University, Foreign Languages Unit:
a) Those who have completed their secondary education/high school in an English-speaking country in the last three years, where the medium of instruction is in English, and those who completed their education in the schools attended by the citizens of that country,
b) Those who were able to get the following minimum scores in the internationally recognised foreign language proficiency exams listed in Table 1 below and whose language level equivalence is accepted by the Higher Education Council of Turkey, and those who score 85 and above in the centrally recognized nationalwide foreign language exams (like YDS/YÖKDİL) are exempted from the preparatory program.

It is compulsory that the exam score sheets, granted by the national and international exams as stated in the Table 1 above, must have been taken in the last two years and should be valid. The document should be submitted to the Foreign Languages Unit in person or via electronic medium by the end of the add-drop week - announced in the academic calendar.
