Dear Phase I Students, Welcome to the Lokman Hekim University Faculty of Medicine. We would like to share some important information regarding the 2021-2022 Academic Year with you below. You will have "Adaptation to University Life" course between 20^th September – 25^th September 2021. The course schedule is listed below. The lectures to be held during this week are important and all students are required to attend. The start of the new academic year will start on Monday, 20^th September 2021, at 09.00 o’clock, with the University Opening Speeches and Opening Lectures (link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/82118644773) which will be held ONLINE via ZOOM. Afterwards, within the scope of your "Adaptation to University Life" courses, your "Medical Faculty Phase I Opening Course and Program Introduction Courses" (course link: https://bit.ly/2XmXpbl) will be conducted ONLINE via MICROSOFT TEAMS. The compulsory courses and the elective courses for this academic year will be explained to you in detail during this course. You must make your course selections through the Student Information System (OBS). You can access this system via https://obs.lokmanhekim.edu.tr/ link. You can select courses until Friday the 24^th September, 2021, 17.30. We kindly ask you to make all your course selections before the deadline. The “White Coat Wearing Ceremony” will be held on Friday the 24^th September, 2021. Due to the pandemic conditions, no one other than students will be able to attend the ceremony. The ceremony will be broadcast live on Youtube and the relatives of our students will be able to follow the ceremony in this way. Detailed information about the ceremony will be sent to you later.
