Table Tennis Tournament at LHU was the Stage of Great Excitement
The Table Tennis Tournament, organized in cooperation with Lokman Hekim University Human Resources Department and LHU Sports Club, ended with the final match played on February 21, 2025 at Block C. In the tournament, which lasted for three weeks, academic and administrative staff exhibited contentious struggles where both competition and friendship were at the forefront.
Our Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih GÜLTEKİN, our Chairman of the Board of Trustees Dr. Mehmet ALTUĞ and our Secretary General İsmail KURT attended the final match, which attracted great attention, and took part in the award ceremony. The final match was completed with great excitement accompanied by the intense interest and cheers of the audience.
Throughout the tournament, the players played high-paced matches and reflected the unifying power of sports in the best way possible. Each match in the tournament, which lasted for three weeks, offered an atmosphere where the participants displayed their skills, demonstrated their fighting spirit and at the same time had fun moments. The event, which created an environment where sports strengthened motivation and team spirit, also contributed to the cohesion of employees.
After the final matches, the winner of the tournament was Birol ÇELİK, Personnel Affairs Officer, with his outstanding performance. Faculties Secretariat Coordinator Muhammed Enes YILDIZ, came in second place, while Salih ATAKUL, Transportation Services Officer, won the third prize.
The winners received their awards at a ceremony attended by the university administration. The participants thanked those who contributed to the organization and emphasized that such events increase social solidarity within the institution and increase the motivation of employees. The tournament was remembered as an enjoyable event that made us feel the unifying power of friendship, entertainment and sports as well as competition.
