2024-2025 Academic Year Spring Semester Adjustment / Exemption Applications

Students who enrolled in Lokman Hekim University, who want to continue their education by making a transfer, vertical transfer, who were previously dismissed from any Higher Education Institution while they were a student or who were entitled to re-register at Lokman Hekim University while they were graduated, who do a part of their education in another domestic / foreign higher education institution within the scope of exchange programs, who take courses from another domestic / foreign higher education institution within the scope of summer school in the status of special student, will be exempted from the courses they have taken and succeeded before, and their exemptions and adjustments will be made from the Student Information System (OBS).

What is exemption?

It is the situation of accepting the equivalence of the course(s) in the curriculum according to ECTS credit and content compatibility instead of the previously taken and successful course(s).

Who can apply for adjustment/exemption?

1)Students coming from a different university by transfer

2) Students doing a major/minor

3)Students coming with DGS

4)Students who have previously taken courses from any Higher Education Institution

5)Students taking courses from another university through exchange programs such as Erasmus, Farabi or Mevlâna

6) Students taking courses from another university through summer school

!!! Important Note: Do not reapply for the courses for which you have previously applied for adjustment/exemption and have been accepted.

!!! Important Note: Make the Adaptation Application to the application opened for your field. Example: Students who come to our university with DGS will apply to the application named “Vertical Transfer” and students who come with horizontal transfer will apply to the application named “Horizontal Transfer”. If there is no application with a specific name related to your field, apply to the application named “Other”.

ADJUSTMENT/MIGRATION APPLICATION EVALUATION AND RESULT SCHEDULE

!!! Important Note: If you have added your approved exemption applications to your course registration during the “Add-Drop” period, remove them from your course registration before finalizing your course registration.

!!! Important Note: Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Dentistry students who have previously taken courses from any Higher Education Institution will apply.

!!! Important Note: Students studying at the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry will be able to make their adjustment/exemption applications to the faculty secretaries with the application form, transcript and course contents. Students studying in other faculties and SMYO programs will apply through the system.

!!! Important Note Please make your course checks according to your exemption status during the “Add-Drop” period between 17.02.2025 - 21.02.2025.
