Foreign Language Score:
The foreign language exam conducted by our university must be at least 60 in the written exam and the average of the oral and written exams must be at least 70.
Since foreign language knowledge must be documented, it is compulsory to submit a document stating that they have taken YDS, YÖKDİL, TOEFL or 2024 in the last 5 years or at least 70 in one of the Erasmus Foreign Language exams conducted by our school. Erasmus applications of students who are not successful in Erasmus Foreign Language exams are not evaluated.
Applications of students who do not pass the language threshold will be invalid.
If students have more than one foreign language exam result in the application system, the highest language score is taken into consideration in the evaluation phase.
Our students who will apply:
1. They are required to examine the courses in the relevant programs of the universities they want to apply to by contacting the Erasmus coordinators in their academic units and take this into consideration when making their preferences.
2. They are required to contact the Erasmus coordinators in their academic units and get approval for the university preferences they want to do study mobility. (The approval section in the application document is available at .) Incorrectly made preferences are considered as not preferred and the student himself/herself is responsible for this.
3. Our students can make more than one choice among the universities with which our university has an agreement and specified in this announcement.
4. All candidates selected to participate in Erasmus mobility with or without a grant must attend all meetings organized by the Erasmus Coordination Office.
5. Students who are declared eligible to participate in Erasmus mobility are deemed to be eligible to participate in Erasmus mobility with or without a grant if they fulfill the conditions announced by the Erasmus Coordinatorship COMPLETELY AND COMPLETELY. These candidates are only considered as candidates until they sign a contract with our University.
6. The grants of the candidates who do not fulfill their responsibilities without documenting a force majeure reason, such as meetings to be attended on the announced dates, documents to be submitted, etc., may be transferred to substitute candidates or canceled altogether.
7. Candidates who do not fulfill the responsibilities announced by the Erasmus Coordinatorship are deemed to have waived their rights.
The mobility to be realized within the scope of this announcement covers the activities of 2024-2025 summer and 2025-2026 Academic Year. Mobility outside this date range cannot be evaluated in any way within the scope of this announcement.
Since the period that can be participated in the activity is the Summer-Fall-Spring Semester of the 2024-2025 Academic Year, our students can apply for mobility by choosing this period.
In applications, it is essential that the grant is distributed equally to applications from all faculties/departments. In this case, the applicant students will be evaluated within the applications from their academic units. In case there are not enough applications from departments, the grant will be evaluated primarily within the same faculty.
If there are enough eligible applicants from each department and the grant is sufficient, the available grant will be allocated to all departments with equal quotas (3 people for each semester, 3 people with grant, original 9 substitutes).
If there are not enough eligible applications from our other departments or if there is an increase in the grant, this grant can be redistributed by giving priority to departments and programs that have not benefited from Erasmus mobility before.
The following documents regarding the issues identified as priority criteria during the evaluation phase must be uploaded to the application system:
The internship mobility must be funded for a minimum of 62 days and a maximum of 12 months.
Disability Health Board Report must be uploaded for prioritization.
For prioritization, a document showing that you are a Martyr / Veteran Relative must be uploaded.

When making your preferences, it will be in your favor to pay attention to the universities that have an agreement covering your departments. There is no agreement requirement for internship mobility. It is possible to do internship in a higher education institution with ECHE certificate or in places such as clinics and hospitals related to your field.
Information meetings will be organized by the Erasmus Office.
By following our announcements, you can attend the meetings and ask your questions. Students are advised to attend the information meetings during the application process. However, if they cannot attend, they can get information by contacting our e-mail address erasmus@lokmanhekim.edu.tr.
INCLUSION SUPPORT
The Erasmus+ Program encourages the participation of underprivileged participants.
A person with limited means is a potential participant whose personal physical, mental or health condition does not allow him/her to participate in the project/mobility activity without additional financial support. The beneficiary contacts the Erasmus Coordinator in order to be awarded an additional grant to the student in need of inclusion support.
GENERAL PROVISIONS
The activity is the realization of a part of the education of a student enrolled in a higher education institution at a partner higher education institution with which the institution has a bilateral agreement. If the beneficiaries wish to extend their Erasmus mobility period without a grant, their requests will be evaluated by the Erasmus Commission, and if accepted, the student may be allowed to stay without a grant, provided that all Erasmus rules are applied. In order to enable more students to benefit from the Erasmus grant, our university supports students to participate in mobility "with a grant for only 1 semester".
Students who have not completed the first year of their undergraduate program cannot benefit from Erasmus study mobility, but can benefit from internship mobility.
Graduate students whose grade point average has not yet been established are evaluated based on the Undergraduate Graduation Average instead of the General Academic Grade Point Average.
In the evaluation of PhD students whose grade point average has not yet been established, the Master's Degree Graduation average is taken as basis instead of the General Academic Grade Point Average.
Students who want to make mobility during their thesis period must submit a letter of confirmation from their thesis advisors at Lokman Hekim University that they can participate in the mobility and a letter of confirmation from the university they will go to that a faculty member suitable for their field of study will follow their thesis activities. (2 letters or a single letter with 2 signatures)
These students are obliged to submit a valid document/letter stating that the faculty member who advised their thesis studies has found their thesis studies successful.
Students participating in the activity must be full-time students. Students are expected to be sent to follow a program equivalent to 30 ECTS credits for one semester and 60 ECTS credits for a full academic year to do the studies required by their diploma/degree abroad. Successful credits in the program are granted full academic recognition, and unsuccessful credits are repeated in the following academic year. The situation of students who participate in mobility but cannot successfully complete their courses is evaluated by the Erasmus Commission after their return. The grant may be withheld at the rate of failed ECTS.
Students are responsible for familiarizing themselves with the application and language requirements of the universities to which they plan to apply. Since institutions may update their language requirements every year, in addition to the language requirements written in the agreements between the institutions, it is necessary to check the web pages of the other institutions to obtain the most up-to-date and precise information.
Students should check the academic calendar of the universities to which they plan to apply. This is important due to academic calendar conflicts and the fact that some universities accept students in certain semesters.
Course compatibility with the university planned to be visited should be checked with the relevant department Coordinator and approval should be obtained from the Erasmus Coordinator in the relevant academic unit. The grant of the student who is awarded a grant without course compatibility and whose mobility is canceled / canceled due to lack of course compatibility can be transferred to substitute students.
It is important to be careful when making your preferences as you cannot change your preferences after the application submission.
Being placed in an Erasmus Program by Lokman Hekim University does not mean that you will be accepted by the counter institution. In cases where the counter institution is unable to accept the candidate, the candidate may be placed in the next preference, if possible. If there is no other preference or if the next preference is filled by another student, the grant will be transferred to another student waiting in reserve.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THE APPLICATION FOR ERASMUS LEARNING MOBILITY
The student is a full-time student enrolled in a higher education program at any of the formal education levels (first, second or third level) within the university,
The student must have at least 30 ECTS course load for one semester as of the semester of mobility.
First level (associate degree, undergraduate) students have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.80/4.00
Second (master's) and third cycle (doctoral) students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.00,
(The conversion of students' grades from the 4-point system to the 100-point system will be made according to the conversion table applied by the Council of Higher Education).
The reasons such as disciplinary penalties, being an 'irregular' student or having lower courses do not prevent the student from benefiting from the Erasmus program.
A student can benefit from Erasmus study activities for up to 12 months in total within the same study level (bachelor, master or doctorate). If previous activities have already been benefited from within the current level of study, the total duration with the new activity cannot exceed 12 months.
A student who has received a study mobility grant at a previous level can carry out an Erasmus study mobility activity by receiving a grant again at a later level. Benefiting from an internship mobility activity does not preclude benefiting from a study mobility activity once. However, priority is given to the student who has not benefited from Erasmus mobility before. In addition, the upper limit of the grant that can be received for the study mobility activity is the period that will complete the previous internship mobility period, if any, to 12 months. No grant is paid for the activity period exceeding 12 months in total at the same level.
BEING A GRANT-FREE ("0" GRANT) STUDENT
Students can participate in activities without a grant if they wish. Non-grant students subjected to the same general evaluation as other applications and go through the same process as grant students. The difference of a non-grant student is that the student is not included in the budget calculations and is not paid. Not receiving a grant is not a reason for not being included in the selection process.

The evaluation criteria and weighted scores to be used in the evaluation of mobility applications are given below:
Deductions are based on the student's total score.
If the total points calculated by taking into account all criteria are equal, the student with the higher academic achievement grade is given priority, and if the academic achievement grade is also equal, the younger student is given priority.
Double major students can only apply for mobility from one major in the same application period.
Students are ranked according to the quotas allocated to departments or faculties within the relevant department/faculty.
For students who have been selected in a previous selection period within the same education level, but have not carried out the activity without a force majeure reason, in case the higher education institution conducts the study and internship mobility selections within the same application and evaluation process; In case a student who has not benefited from mobility before applies for both study and internship activities at the same time, it is left to the student's preference in which activity the "-10 points" deduction will be applied. In this case, a petition is received from the student regarding which activity he/she prefers to apply the deduction. If a student who has previously benefited from mobility applies for both study and internship activities at the same time, "-20" points will be deducted from the type of mobility he/she has benefited from before and "-10" points will be deducted from the second type of mobility he/she applies for.
Double major students can only apply for mobility from one major in the same application period.
FERAGAT
Selected students can waive their application within 7 days after the results are published. Students who do not submit a waiver notification within this period will be deducted "-10 points" in any subsequent Erasmus mobility application. No point deduction is applied for waivers on time or based on a valid force majeure. Students who want to waive based on a force majeure reason must apply in writing to the Erasmus Commission and submit a decision on whether the reasons are force majeure or not.

If the mobility period is below the minimum duration (less than 60 days), no grant payment is made for the mobility in question. Unless there is a force majeure that requires the student to return early, if students voluntarily end their mobility, the grant will be returned by the student due to non-compliance with the minimum activity duration requirement.
In cases where students need to terminate the planned mobility early due to force majeure (due to necessity; family reasons, health reasons, natural disasters, etc.), students are required to contact the Erasmus Office in advance and inform the Erasmus Office. The approval of whether the situation is due to force majeure will be obtained by our Coordinator's Office after consultation with the necessary authorities. Students whose situations are evaluated as force majeure will be asked to refund the overpaid grant, leaving the grant amount for the period they stayed abroad.
If our students with disabilities/special needs are selected for the program, they may be provided with additional grant support. The additional grant rate cannot exceed the total Erasmus grant to be received. Detailed information about special needs support can be obtained from our Coordination Office.
In the event that a new development emerges during the process in matters not foreseen in this announcement, the University's Exchange Commission has the authority to take a new decision and implement it in accordance with the Erasmus implementation manual of the relevant year.
For the faculty/department above, 3 internship grants were allocated to each department within the scope of our 2024-1-TR01-KA131-HED-000225213 Project.
The evaluation of applications from graduate programs will be carried out within the quota of the departments considered relevant by the Commission.
For the Learning Mobility, evaluation will be made only for 1 grant-funded original and 3 substitute members. 1 person will benefit from the main or substitute learning mobility with 1 grant.
For Internship Mobility, only 1 grant will be evaluated for the original 9 substitute members. Grants that cannot be used for the main or substitute will be used for other types of mobility. Students selected as substitutes will be able to realize mobility without a grant.
Note: Attendance to the information meeting to be held within the application date is mandatory and the signatures of the participants are collected.
