Within the scope of Foot and Ankle Days organized for the 4th time this year by Lokman Hekim University Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, Geriatric Foot Symposium was held on Friday, March 7, 2025 at the A block conference hall of our university.
In the symposium, which included many expert speakers in the field, important issues such as the Effects of Geriatric Foot Problems, Foot Deformations and Physiotherapy Applications were discussed in detail. Participants had the opportunity to learn about current treatment approaches and rehabilitation methods for foot health problems frequently seen in elderly individuals.
The event was open to health professionals, academics, students and anyone interested in the subject. The symposium aimed to draw attention to the importance of foot health in the geriatric population and to raise awareness in this field.
The organizing team stated that the event was successfully completed and the feedback from the participants was very positive. Similar events are planned to be organized in the coming years.
