Dear Students,
On Monday, September 26, 2022, at 10:00, the English Preparatory Placement Test will be held face-to-face. This exam consists of
80 multiple-choice questions in total. Exam duration is 60 minutes.
four areas: vocabulary, grammar, communication and reading comprehension.
This session of the exam will take place in classroom B502.
Depending on the number of correct questions you answer in this exam, the level you will attend at Lokman Hekim University Preparatory Program (A1, A2, B1) will be determined.
Students who do not take the exam will start English education from the basic level.
In order for your English language level to be determined correctly, please leave the questions you can’t answer blank.
If you answer 2/3 of the questions correctly in the placement exam, you will be entitled to take the English Proficiency Exam (EPE), which will be held face-to-face in the classroom B502 on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at 10:00. The results of this placement test will be announced by 17.00 on the same day.
ABOUT THE ENGLISH EXEMPTION EXAM (ENGLISH PROFICIENCY EXAM-EPE)
Dear Students,
The English Proficiency Exam (EPE), which will be held face to face in class B502 on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, will be in two separate sessions, 10.00 in the morning and 13.00 in the afternoon.
In the first session, Listening, Reading, Grammar, Vocabulary and Writing skills will be measured and will take a total of 100 minutes.
The second session only measures the Speaking skill. In this session, each student will take the exam alone in the room shown to them, and the speaking exam will last for a maximum of 6 minutes.

ANNOUNCEMENT OF RESULTS
Depending on the number of correct questions (at least 65%) answered in four areas, you will be enrolled in the LHU Preparatory Program or your own department. Your exam result will be announced on our university website as of 10:00 on the day after the exam (Wednesday, September 28, 2022). If you successfully pass the English Exemption Exam (EPE), you will be exempted from the preparatory program.
