Students from the Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Department at Lokman Hekim University took their first steps into their profession at the 2024-2025 academic year White Coat Ceremony. The ceremony was held on Monday, May 5, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. in the Conference Hall on the 1st floor of Building A at the university.
The opening speeches were delivered by Associate Professor Banu ÜNVER, Head of the Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, Professor Nilgün BEK, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Professor Zehra GÖLBAŞI, Vice Rector, and Dr. Mehmet ALTUĞ, Chairman of the Board of Trustees. In their speeches, they emphasized the responsibility that comes with wearing the white coat and the ethical values of the profession.
The ceremony continued with the students excitedly putting on their coats and sharing their joy of taking their first steps in their profession. The event also featured a musical performance, adding an artistic touch to this meaningful day.
