As an application of our university's social, cultural and artistic activities in addition to its scientific studies, the second photography contest organized by the Faculty of Medicine within the scope of the March 14th Medical Day activities, with the subject of "Free ”, has been concluded.
As a result of the evaluation made by our selection committee consisting of Prof. Dr. Adnan Ataç, Prof. Dr. Kamil Öge, Prof. Dr. Taner Kıral, Erdoğan Dede and Murat Berkyürek, three success and seventeen exhibition awards were determined. As a result of our competition, 5000 TL will be awarded to the first prize winner, 3000 TL to the second prize winner and 2000 TL to the third prize winner, and our award ceremony will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2024 at 13.30 in our A Block -1st Floor Conference Hall. The works worth exhibiting will be available for viewing in our Block A Foyer Area during March 10 - 14, 2025.
61 competitors participated in the competition with 217 photographs. Of these, 69 photographs were eliminated from the beginning because they did not comply with the Specification Rules. From the remaining 148 photographs, 90 photographs were eliminated in the 1st round, 38 photographs were eliminated in the 2nd round, and 20 photographs were selected for the exhibition and award. From these 20 photographs, the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place photographs were determined by scoring. All evaluations were made on the basis of the names of the photographs through the pseudonyms requested from the contestants and the jury members did not see the names of the contestants.
