Neşe Yıldız, İlknur Baykara, Nurgül Çelik, Nazlı Kılınç, Ezgi Etyemez, Hilal Karakoç, İrem Sıla Topuksuz, Eylül Bengisu Şahin and Buse Aleyna Ökmen, our first and second year students of the nursing department who are members of the Florence Network, are the head of our department's International Relations and Erasmus Commission. . Lecturer Member Esra Türker, commission member Res. See. They participated in the Virtual Exchange Project organized by Fatma Nur Duman and faculty members of the Nursing Department of Hanze University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands.
As part of the project, our students paired up with 18 students from the Department of Nursing at Hanze University of Applied Sciences and shared their nursing experiences. Individual interviews were conducted over a period of six weeks, including the preparation phase. At the end of the project, our students' English speaking and understanding skills improved, especially on nursing-related subjects, our students learned the details of the nursing profession in the Netherlands (course contents, job opportunities, areas of interest, etc.) and gained awareness of the cultural diversity between the Netherlands and Turkey regarding nursing.
We would like to thank the faculty members of the Department of Nursing at Hanze University of Applied Sciences, who organized the Virtual Exchange Project, our professors who are members of the International Relations and Erasmus Commission, and our students who participated in the project, and we wish them continued success.
