    There is a Master's Program with Thesis in Obstetrics and Gynecology Nursing. Graduate studies are also carried out in other departments of nursing.

     

    From which score type does the Department of Nursing accept students?

     

    The Department of Nursing, which is under the Faculty of Health Sciences, accepts students with YKS (Higher Education Institutions Examination) Numerical score type.

     

    What does the Nursing Department course content include?

     

    Turkey Higher Education Framework (TYYÇ) and Nursing National Core Program (HUÇEP) was created within the scope. The 4-year education and training process includes theoretical and practical courses specific to basic medical sciences and nursing.

     

    What are the internship opportunities for nursing students?

     

    Our students have the opportunity to do their internships in the clinics of public and Lokman Hekim Hospitals during the course periods within the scope of the basic courses of the nursing profession (nursing principles, internal medicine nursing, surgical diseases nursing, obstetrics and gynecology nursing, child health and diseases nursing, mental health and psychiatric nursing, public health nursing) during their 4-year undergraduate education.

     

    Is there a compulsory summer internship in the nursing department?

     

    There is no compulsory summer internship in the Department of Nursing.

     

    Is there a Double Major and Minor Opportunity in the Department of Nursing?

     

    Students of our department can benefit from the Minor Program with other departments of the Faculty of Health Sciences (Midwifery, etc.) if they meet the application requirements. Announcements and guidance about this field are made in detail during the course periods.

     

    Can Nursing Department Students benefit from student exchange programs (e.g. Erasmus+, etc.)?

     

    Erasmus+, Farabi, Mevlana exchange programs are implemented at our university. Our students can benefit from Erasmus+ Learning and Internship Mobility if they meet the application requirements.     There is the possibility of horizontal transfer in our department. Detailed information about the transition conditions is clearly stated in the horizontal transfer directive.

     

    How did you continue your education during Covid-19?

     

    Our Atatürk's Principles and History of Turkish Revolution I-II, Turkish Language I-II and Information Technologies courses, which are currently carried out as compulsory common courses, were given via distance education system. During the pandemic process, all our theoretical courses met with our students via distance education system.
