

Objectives & Our Goals
Our Department of Nursing aims to train professional nurses who can take an active role in the protection, development and treatment processes of individual, family and community health, adopt scientific and ethical values, and use current technology and innovative approaches by our strong and experienced academic staff. In this direction, our Nursing Department offers an education that is supported by simulation laboratories and clinical applications where students can integrate their theoretical knowledge with practical skills and is fully compatible with the Nursing Undergraduate Core Education Programme.
Our Goals as Nursing Department;
- Adopted evidence-based care practices based on science and art of nursing profession,
- Adopting professional ethical principles, respecting human and patient rights and having responsibility,
- To be able to communicate effectively with other members of the health team and to be able to work as a team,
- To be able to communicate effectively with patients, caregivers and their families,
- To be able to analyse deviation from health and to have effective problem solving skills,
- To be able to follow the clinical skills and technological developments necessary in the care of healthy and sick individuals,
- To be able to raise awareness about health protection and development to individuals and society,
- To be able to undertake management and leadership roles in health services,
- To train nurses who adopt continuous professional development, have research skills and are open to innovations.
