The Common Courses Coordination Unit (CCCU) was established within Lokman Hekim University in the Fall Semester of the 2018–2019 Academic Year in order to plan, implement, and coordinate compulsory common courses—namely Atatürk’s Principles and History of Reforms, Turkish Language, and Information Technologies—as well as Cultural Elective Courses included in the curricula of various associate and undergraduate programs.
While ensuring that the compulsory common course requirements of university students are met, the Unit also carries out its activities with the aim of responding to the increasing demand for cultural elective courses within the framework of the Bologna Process.
