

Duties, Authorities and Responsibilities
Dean
Appointment: The dean, who is the representative of the faculty and its units, is elected for a period of three years by the Council of Higher Education from among three professors from within or outside the university to be recommended by the rector and appointed by the normal procedure. The dean whose term expires may be reappointed.
The dean elects at most two people from among the faculty members of the faculty as vice deans to assist him in his work.
Vice deans are appointed by the dean for a maximum of three years. The dean may change his/her assistants when deemed necessary. When the dean's duty ends, the duty of his/her assistants also ends.
When he/she is absent from his/her duty, one of his/her assistants deputizes. If the deputy duty lasts more than six months, a new dean is appointed.
Duties, powers and responsibilities:
1. To chair the faculty boards, to implement the decisions of the faculty boards and to ensure regular work among the faculty units,
2. To report to the rector about the general status and functioning of the faculty at the end of each academic year and when requested,
3. To notify the rectorate of the faculty's appropriation and staffing needs together with the justification, and to submit the proposal regarding the faculty budget to the rectorate after receiving the opinion of the faculty executive board,
4. To maintain general supervision and control over the units and personnel at all levels of the Faculty,
5. To perform other duties assigned to him/her by laws and regulations.
The Dean is primarily responsible to the rector for the rational use and development of the teaching capacity of the faculty and its affiliated units, for taking security measures when necessary, for providing the necessary social services to the students, for the regular conduct of education, training, scientific research and publication activities, for the supervision and supervision of all activities, for monitoring and controlling and for obtaining the results.
Faculty Board
Organization and functioning: The faculty board consists of the heads of the departments affiliated to the faculty under the chairmanship of the dean, the directors of the institutes and colleges affiliated to the faculty, if any, and three faculty members to be elected among themselves by the professors in the faculty for three years, two faculty members to be elected among themselves by the associate professors, and one faculty member to be elected among themselves by the assistant professors.
The faculty board holds its regular meetings at the beginning and end of each semester. The Dean calls the faculty board to a meeting when deemed necessary.
Duties: The faculty board is an academic body and performs the following duties:
1. To decide on the education, scientific research and publication activities of the Faculty and the principles, plan, program and education calendar related to these activities,
2. To elect members to the faculty board of directors,
3. To perform other duties assigned by law and regulations.
Faculty Executive Board
Organization and functioning: The faculty executive board consists of three professors, two associate professors and one assistant professor elected by the faculty board for three years under the chairmanship of the dean.
The faculty executive board convenes upon the call of the dean. The board of directors may establish temporary working groups, education and training coordinatorships when it deems necessary and regulates their duties.
Duties: The faculty board of directors is an auxiliary body to the dean in administrative activities and performs the following duties:
1. To assist the dean in the implementation of the decisions and principles determined by the faculty board,
2. To ensure the implementation of the faculty's education and training, plans and programs and the academic calendar,
3. To prepare the Faculty's investment, program and budget draft,
4. To take decisions on all matters brought by the Dean regarding the faculty management,
5. To decide on the admission, course adjustments and dismissals of students and their procedures regarding education and examinations,
6. To perform other duties assigned by law and regulations.
