Information About the Second Level Placement Test for Turkish Language Preparation for 2025-2026
To the Attention of International Students Placed in Turkish Language Departments for the 2025-2026 Academic Year!
Dear Students,
The second Turkish Level Placement Exam will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in person.
Exam Location: Block B – 8th Floor, Room 805
The exam consists of two sessions: The first session includes a test with 60 multiple-choice questions and a writing exam at the A1-A2-B1-B2-C1 levels. The second session assesses the speaking skills of the participants.
For students enrolled at our university:
Lokman Hekim University students who wish to take the exam must apply by filling out the required information at the registration link below. The deadline for exam applications is Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at 5:00 p.m.
Students must bring their passport, student ID, pencils, and erasers to the exam.
Students will be placed in the class that will be opened according to the level determined by the exam results.
Exam results will be announced one day after the exam date. Students who score 70 or above on this exam will be eligible to take the Turkish Proficiency Exam. Candidates who score 70 or above on the Turkish Proficiency Exam will be exempt from Turkish Preparatory Education. Other students will be placed in courses (A1, A2, B1, B2) appropriate to their level in the LHÜ Turkish Preparatory Program, depending on the number of questions they answered correctly in the exam.
The Turkish Level Placement Exam will be free of charge for students who have completed their final registration at Lokman Hekim University.
No make-up exams will be held for students who do not take these exams on the designated dates. Students who do not take the Level Placement Exam will be subject to Turkish Preparatory Education at the most basic level.
Those who wish to take the exam can request an appointment by sending their passport, bank receipt, and signed application form, indicating the date they wish to take the exam, to the email address dilmer@lokmanhekim.edu.tr by 5:00 PM on Tuesday, September 9, 2025. The exam registration process will be completed by sending a confirmation message to the student.
Students must have their passport, pencils, and erasers with them during the exam.
The exam fee for students who are not enrolled at our university is 1500 TL.
Those who wish to take the exam must send the receipt and other necessary documents for the exam to dilmer@lokmanhekim.edu.tr and write “LHÜ Dilmer Exam Fee” in the description section.
