Faculty Introduction
Lokman Hekim University Faculty of Health Sciences
was established in the 2018-2019 academic year alongside the university and has been successfully continuing its academic activities since then. Our faculty consists of seven departments: Nutrition and Dietetics, Speech and Language Therapy, Midwifery, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, Nursing, and Audiology. Our students begin to benefit from extensive internship and practical training opportunities at hospitals affiliated with the Lokman Hekim Health Group from their first year, in accordance with their curriculum.
In addition, thanks to the vital simulation center within our faculty, students have the opportunity to experience clinical environments and real case scenarios early on.
In addition to undergraduate education, graduate programs are also available in departments affiliated with our faculty. Our graduates can take advantage of graduate education opportunities. Many of our departments offer minor and double major programs. For example, double major/minor opportunities between Speech and Language Therapy – Audiology, Nursing – Midwifery, Occupational Therapy – Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation departments provide academic diversity to our students.
Our faculty members are highly qualified, equipped with professional knowledge and skills, and dedicated to training qualified health professionals. As of 2025, our Nutrition and Dietetics and Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation departments have five-year accreditation.
We would be delighted to welcome you to the C Block campus of Lokman Hekim University and introduce you to our faculty in person.
