Lokman Hekim University Faculty of Health Sciences was established in the 2018–2019 academic year alongside the university’s founding and has successfully continued its academic activities ever since. Our faculty consists of six departments: Nutrition and Dietetics, Speech-Language Pathology, Midwifery, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, and Audiology.
Our students begin taking advantage of extensive internship and practical training opportunities at hospitals affiliated with the Lokman Hekim Health Group, in accordance with their curriculum, starting from their first year. Additionally, thanks to the vital simulation center within our faculty, students have the opportunity to experience clinical environments and real-life case scenarios early on.
In addition to undergraduate education, graduate programs are also available in the departments affiliated with our faculty. Our graduates can take full advantage of these graduate education opportunities. Many of our departments also offer the option to pursue a minor or a double major. For example, the double major/minor opportunities available between the departments of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, Nursing and Midwifery, and Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation provide our students with academic diversity.
Our faculty consists of highly qualified academic staff who are experts in their fields and equipped with professional knowledge and skills, all working toward the goal of training qualified healthcare professionals. As of 2025, our Nutrition and Dietetics and Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation departments hold five-year accreditations.
