The 12th Conference on Medicinal and Aromatic Plants of Southeast European Countries (CMAPSEEC), hosted by Dokuz Eylül University (Izmir), in partnership with Gaziantep University and Lokman Hekim University and in cooperation with the Association of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants of Southeast European Countries (AMAPSEEC) and chaired by Prof. Dr. İlkay Erdoğan Orhan, Dean of LHU Faculty of Pharmacy, was held in Izmir between 17-19 October 2024.
The theme of the conference was “Medicinal and Aromatic Plant Research from Biodiversity to Bioactivity” and the event was attended by approximately 100 scientists including invited speakers from Italy, China, Iran, Bulgaria, Serbia, Portugal, Croatia, Macedonia, Moldova, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and Turkey.
