Lokman Hekim University Meets with Quality Ambassadors
The ‘Meeting with Quality Ambassadors’ event, organised by the Lokman Hekim University Strategy Development and Quality Coordination Office, will be held to spread the culture of quality at our university, encourage students to participate in quality processes, and contribute to the establishment of a volunteer-based Quality Ambassadors Group.
The event will address the structure of quality assurance systems in higher education and the role of students in these systems. Successful examples of student-led initiatives from leading universities in Turkey will also be shared. The importance of active student participation in quality processes will be emphasised, and steps to be taken in this area at our university will be evaluated.
Participants include Dr. Berkay Tarım, former chair of the Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK) Student Commission; Dr. Yasin Tunç, Head of the Quality Management Office at Hacettepe University; and Prof. Dr. A. Ayşe Karaduman, Quality Coordinator at our university. Throughout the event, information will be provided on current approaches in the field of quality, the effects of student representation, and volunteer-based participation models.
The event will be moderated by Prof. Dr. Ayşe Karaduman, Director of Strategy Development and Quality Assurance.
