To be an Erasmus Exchange student in Lokman Hekim University;
  • In order to apply to Erasmus Exchange Program in Lokman Hekim University, your university should have mutual agreement with Lokman Hekim University. In case there’s no agreement between the two universities, you can contact your University’s Erasmus Plus or International Relations Office to make such an agreement.
  • If you are undergraduate student, you must have finished at least 2 semesters and if you are graduate student, you must have finished at least one semester.
  • You need to be chosen and nominated as Erasmus Exchange candidate by the University.
Application Stages; The application process is held twice a year for both undergraduate and graduate students: Fall semester registration deadline: July 1 Spring semester registration deadline: November 1
  • Control the subjects taught at the Lokman Hekim University. You can find the list and content of available subjects at our university from the link  You will use that information to fill the education contract.
  • Fill in the application form and the education contract (before Mobility) (should be filled and sealed by your university’s Erasmus + office) and send them with the scan of following documents to Lokman Hekim University via email.
  • Transcript (Given by your University)
  • Photocopy of your passport
  • ID Photo
After you complete the document, we will send you the letter of acceptence. PLEASE CLICK FOR APPLICATION   You should bring the following document when you come to Lokman Hekim University!

Visa and resident permit Before they come to Turkey, Erasmus Exchange students should get Student Visa from the closest Embassy of Turkey. It is recommended to apply fort he visa at least two months before the application date. After their arrival to Turkey, the students should apply to take resident permit from local authorities within a month. You can apply for resident permit from the website of General Directorate of Migration Management: https://e-ikamet.goc.gov.tr/ If you are associate, undergraduate, graduate and PhD degree student, you need to apply for Student Visa. The documents you will need to apply for resident permit;

  2. Photo in JPEG format
  3. Health Insurance
  4. Mobile phone number
After completing your application, you need to fill the required documents:
  • Resident permit application form (signed by the student or legal representative)
  • Photocopy of your passport or any other valid ID instead of passport (photocopy from pages about personal information and your photo)
  • 4 photo ID (biometric photo taken within last 6 months with white background. Don’t upload family selfie, outdated or black and White photos to the system, otherwise your resident permit won’t be issued!
  • Statement stating that financial afford will be sufficient and will be provided regularly during the accomodation. (It will be declared in the application form. Directorate can request supporting documents.)
  • Valid Health Insurance (The insurance period must cover the prescribed residence permit duration).
IMPORTANT: The application must be made within 30 days after the students’s arrival in Turkey. Otherwise, the student visa of the applicant won’t be valid. Accomodation Accomodation will be arranged on request. For more information you can contact via email: Erasmus@lokmanhekim.edu.tr
