1. When can I apply for Erasmus+ mobility?
Erasmus+ applications are announced every academic year during the fall semester and submitted in the early spring semester (usually between April–May). The exact dates are shared on the Erasmus Office web page and official announcements.
2. How can I apply?
All applications must be completed online via the National Agency’s Turna Application Portal, accessible through e-Government login.
Physical submission of documents is not required. All documents must be uploaded to the system.
3. Who is eligible to apply?
Full-time students enrolled at Lokman Hekim University (associate, undergraduate, master’s, or PhD level)
Undergraduate students: minimum GPA of 2.80/4.00
Graduate and PhD students: minimum GPA of 3.00/4.00
First-year undergraduate students can only apply for traineeship mobility
4. What is required for Erasmus+ study mobility?
To be enrolled in a department that has an inter-institutional Erasmus agreement
To have at least 30 ECTS credits for the semester of mobility
To get pre-approval from the department Erasmus coordinator
To meet the Erasmus+ language requirement
5. Where can I do my Erasmus+ traineeship?
You may complete your traineeship at any institution that has a valid ECHE (Erasmus Charter for Higher Education), such as:

6. How do I apply for the language exam?
Each year, a separate announcement is made regarding the Erasmus+ English exam.
Students must register via the relevant form by the deadline.
Those who register but do not attend the exam will receive -5 points.
Only students who pass the language threshold will be eligible.
7. What documents are required for application?
Erasmus application form
Language exam result (Erasmus exam, or YDS/YÖKDİL/TOEFL within last 5 years)
Acceptance letter for traineeship (if available, +10 points)
Supporting documents for priority groups (disability, martyrs' relatives, etc.)
8. Where can I find partner universities and departments?

For study mobility, make sure the host university has an agreement with your department.
For traineeship mobility, no bilateral agreement is needed.
9. What are the Erasmus+ grant amounts?
Grants are calculated based on the country group:
Group 1 & 2 countries: 600 €/month (study), 750 €/month (traineeship)
Group 3 countries: 450 €/month (study), 600 €/month (traineeship)
70% is paid before departure, 30% after completing the mobility and submitting documents.
10. How are applications evaluated?
Academic success: 50%
Language score: 50%
+10 to +15 bonus points: for eligible priority conditions
-10 points: previous Erasmus participation
-10 points: applying for both study and traineeship at once (applied to one of your preferences)
11. Can I participate without a grant (zero-grant student)?
Yes. Students can apply and participate without receiving a grant. Evaluation and selection procedures are the same.
12. Which semester can I go abroad?
Mobilities can be carried out in the summer, fall, or spring semesters depending on the project cycle. The activity period is announced each year.
13. What is inclusion support?
Students who are economically, socially, or physically disadvantaged may be eligible for additional grant support. Supporting documents must be submitted through the system.
14. How will the results be announced?
Selection results and provisional lists will be published on the Erasmus Office webpage. Appeals can be submitted by email within the announced deadline.
