    PHARMACEUTICAL TECHNOLOGY MASTER'S PROGRAM WITH THESIS

     

    General Information

    With the decision taken at the meeting of the Executive Board of Higher Education dated 11.08.2021, Pharmaceutical Technology Master's Program with Thesis was opened within Lokman Hekim University Institute of Health Sciences.

    The aim of the program is to train researchers who have theoretical and practical basic knowledge for drug development, who can follow scientific developments in the field of Pharmaceutical Technology and have the ability to access, evaluate and interpret information.

    Our students who successfully graduate from the Pharmaceutical Technology Master's Program; It is aimed to take part in research-oriented studies in other related disciplines by using the knowledge, knowledge and scientific perspective gained in the field of Pharmaceutical Technology, to contribute to science with the knowledge they will acquire in the field of nanotechnology, to take part as experts with sufficient knowledge and skills in the pharmaceutical industry and pharmaceutical R&D centers, to be qualified to carry out current regulations and applications in Turkey.

     

    Aim of the Program

    The main mission and vision of our university is to train modern and free scientists who conduct national and international research in the field of Health Sciences, who are open to development, have a universal perspective, adhere to ethical values, are preferred and recognized nationally and internationally, have a reputable, scientific thinking, and are effective and exemplary with their innovations in education and research. In this context, it is aimed to provide graduate education for those who want to make a difference with the knowledge and skills they will gain in the field of health, to shape the health services and policies of our country; to develop, develop, produce and share the knowledge they produce at national and international level.

     

    Student Admission Requirements

    Graduates of the Faculty of Pharmacy and departments deemed appropriate by the board of the department can apply to this program. Turkish or foreign students who have completed the relevant undergraduate program or graduate program in foreign countries must have a certificate of equivalence or recognition from the Council of Higher Education (YÖK).

    In applications for master's programs with thesis, it is necessary to have the ALES score to be determined by the relevant Graduate School Board, provided that it is not less than 55 points in the score type of the applied program, and the minimum foreign language minimum base score determined by the Department Heads and accepted by the Senate from the Central foreign language exams or international foreign language exams accepted as equivalent by ÖSYM.

     

    Program Qualifications (Outcomes)

    1. Industrial production, quality control, quality assurance system, good pharmaceutical manufacturing conditions (GMP),

    have comprehensive knowledge in the fields of stability, preparation of registration dossier.

    2. Learns, uses and develops the fields related to the field of Pharmaceutical Technology.

    3. Analytical / bioanalytical validations of drugs and drug manufacturing process validations and international

    4. Have a deep and systematic level of knowledge in the field of Pharmaceutical Technology, pre

    8. Have knowledge about new drug delivery systems and controlled release systems,

    learns the purposes of using these systems in targeting organs and tissues,

    Understands and interprets the advantages and disadvantages.

    9. Defines an existing problem, accesses the relevant resources based on the given keywords.

    learns to offer a solution for the solution of this problem individually or in a group, solution

    experiments in laboratory conditions in accordance with the steps of scientific thought

    10. Learns and interprets the applications of nanotechnology and nanotechnology in the field of drug carrier systems, realizes the practical preparation of these systems, realizes the current

    Laboratory Knowledge

    The proposed program is a master's program with thesis and requires laboratory work.

    The laboratories within Lokman Hekim University will be used for this purpose.

     

    Graduation Requirements

    In order for a student enrolled in the Master's program to graduate from the program, he / she must meet the conditions specified in Lokman Hekim University Graduate Education and Examination Regulations. Compulsory and Elective Courses to be taken with the Total Credits Required to Obtain a Master's Degree The master's program with thesis consists of compulsory and elective courses to be taken by students and a thesis to be prepared. The evaluation of students' course success is based on 'Lokman Hekim University Graduate Education and Examination Regulations'. If the advisor deems appropriate and necessary, courses from other programs can also be selected. Students are required to write their thesis in accordance with the 'Institute of Health Sciences Thesis Writing Guide'. Information about the compulsory courses and elective courses to be taken within the scope of the master's program with thesis is presented below.
