This service is designed to meet the academic information needs of all researchers, whether affiliated with Lokman Hekim University or not, by providing access to information sources (articles, theses, books, etc.) through photocopying or lending.
DOCUMENT DELIVERY SERVICES FOR LHÜ STUDENTS AND ACADEMICS
If the requested publication is not available in the library collection, it will be obtained from other research and university libraries in Turkey.
What can I request?
Requests can be made for articles, books, and theses (table of contents, bibliography, abstract, and a selected section).
Due to copyright laws, photocopies of entire sources cannot be made.
You can request theses published at other universities through the Library. Theses provided by TÜBESS and YÖK are given to our users in printed form.
Requests for printed books from other universities are only accepted from academic staff.
The Publication Request Form is filled out and submitted to the Library Coordination Office in person or via email.
How long will it take for my request to be fulfilled?
The time it takes for requests to be fulfilled varies depending on the document provision policy of the relevant library.
DOCUMENT DELIVERY SERVICES FOR EXTERNAL RESEARCHERS
Researchers who are not members of LHÜ and institutions wishing to use the document delivery service can access publications in our collection through photocopying and lending.
What can I request?
Requests can be made for articles, books, and thesis sections available in our collection, except for reserved and reference sources. Due to copyright restrictions, photocopies of entire sources cannot be made. For book loan requests, only requests made through institutions will be fulfilled.
How can I make a request?
Users should check the library catalog to see if the resource they are looking for is available in our library.
If the resource is available, the Publication Request Form must be completed in full and sent to the Library Coordination Office by mail or email.
Book loan requests can be made through the relevant university or research institution.
How long does it take for my request to be fulfilled?
Requests are shipped within an average of 3 business days.
INTERNATIONAL DOCUMENT DELIVERY SERVICE
If the requested article is not available in our library or other library collections in Turkey, it can be obtained from international sources.
LHÜ researchers and students can benefit from the International Document Delivery Service.
Article requests are sent to the Library Coordination Office by mail or email.
Requests are responded to within an average of 3-15 days.
