Hosted by Lokman Hekim University, the scientific education event titled “New Generation Learning Materials in Health Education: Design and Implementation with Digital Tools” was held in the C block seminar hall from September 11 to 13, 2025, within the scope of the TÜBİTAK 2237 Scientific Education Activities Support Program.
The event, led by Dr. Özlem Ülkü BULUT, Associate Professor, offered academics and researchers a comprehensive experience in the digitalization of educational materials in the field of health and the design and implementation of new generation learning tools.
The Organizing Committee included Prof. Dr. Zehra GÖLBAŞI, Prof. Dr. Ayten ŞENTÜRK ERENEL, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Meltem MERİÇ, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Didem ŞİMŞEK KÜÇÜKKELEPÇE, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Adem YILMAZ, and Dr. Özlem Ülkü BULUT.
Throughout the three-day event, participants attended workshops on how traditional materials used in health education can be transferred to a digital environment, the integration of virtual and augmented reality-based applications into course content, and the development of simulation and interactive learning tools.
The program aimed to contribute to the development of educational models aligned with the requirements of the digital age, enhance the quality of health education, and equip participants with innovative teaching methods.
