SPECIAL STUDENT ADMISSION

1) Students enrolled in a master's, doctorate or proficiency in art program can be admitted to graduate courses at other higher education institutions as special students with the approval of the head of the department/major art branch of the institute in which they are enrolled. The exemption procedures of the courses that the students who are accepted to graduate courses take as a special student and are successful are carried out by the head of the department/major art department of the institute in which they are enrolled. Applications for special studentship are considered as an application to take certain courses, not as an application to enroll in the Department program offering the course(s) to be taken.

2)  Applications for special studentship are evaluated by the Head of the Department that offers the course(s) that the candidate has applied to take, taking into consideration the number of applications to the programs, the characteristics and capacity of the course(s) to be taken. The evaluation results of the applications made for special studentship are discussed and decided by the relevant Graduate School Administrative Board.

3) Special students are obliged to comply with the requirements for students enrolled in the graduate program with regard to the courses.

4) Special students who follow the courses they are enrolled in once and receive their success grades, their special student status ends. Those who want to retake a course or take a new course must reapply for special student status for that course and be accepted and enrolled. Special students are given a document showing the courses they have taken and their grades, clearly indicating their special student status. Grade point average is not calculated for special students.
