Lokman Hekim University aims to train qualified, well-equipped physicians who can meet the needs of the era, in line with its founding mission. In this context, the undergraduate education provided in our Faculties of Medicine and Dentistry is not limited to imparting professional knowledge and skills; it also aims to prepare our students for specialty training.

For our university, success in the Medical Specialization Entrance Exam (TUS) and Dental Specialization Entrance Exam (DUS) are fundamental indicators that not only represent individual achievements but also enhance our institutional development, visibility, and academic reputation at the national and international levels. For this reason, Lokman Hekim University has made the TUS and DUS strategy a comprehensive education policy by providing systematic guidance to its students from the very first year.

In recent years, TUS and DUS exam questions have been prepared in line with the Core Education Program (ÇEP) and cover the basic topics taught in the courses as well as cases frequently encountered in professional life. Our university aims to support our students in this direction and lead them to success in both their academic and professional lives.

Our strategies towards this goal are as follows:

· Early Awareness: We ensure that our students begin their educational lives with the TUS/DUS strategy from their first year.

· Seminars: At the beginning and middle of each academic year, we organize TUS/DUS seminars for all classes to create future projections for the courses of that period.

· Encouragement for the Exam: We encourage our fifth and sixth-year students, in particular, to use their free time to prepare for the exam.

· Question Adaptation: Starting from the first grade, we include as many old TUS/DUS questions as possible in exams and encourage our teaching staff to do the same.

· Staying Up-to-Date: After TUS/DUS exams, we share the questions with our teaching staff to ensure they keep up with current developments and pass this information on to students.
