We train dentists who use high-level technology, have ethical values and are competent in all kinds of dental diseases. Lokman Hekim University Faculty of Dentistry, which has an 80-unit dental hospital, provides its students with practice and internship opportunities in this hospital during their education period.
Since Lokman Hekim University Faculty of Dentistry is a member of the European Dental Association, it provides education compatible with the programs of this association.
Dentistry education is a 5-year education. 3 years of this period are basic medical education and training to acquire basic dentistry manual skills. Starting from the 3rd grade, our students begin to receive their first practical training by providing one-on-one clinics on artificial patients in simulation laboratories in order to prepare for clinical training. 4th and 5th grade students receive completely practical training. This training is carried out at Lokman Hekim University Dental Hospital, equipped with state-of-the-art devices. The dental hospital is located with the faculty building. Students do not need to go anywhere else for their clinical training.
