LHU 2023-2024 Academic Year Graduation Ceremony: A Moment of Pride and Success
Lokman Hekim University sent off its 2023-2024 academic year undergraduate and associate degree graduates with great enthusiasm. At the graduation ceremony held in Batıkent Haydar Aliyev Park on July 1-2, 2024, 460 undergraduate and 600 associate degree students were proud to receive their diplomas.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Lokman Hekim University Chamber Music Ensemble Choir gave the participants unforgettable moments with their impressive performance. The students of the Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Dentistry, who graduated their first students this year, shared this historic moment with their families, professors, loved ones and friends.
In his speech at the ceremony, Dr. Mehmet ALTUĞ, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, stated that the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Dentistry are excited and proud to give their first graduates and said, "We have achieved many successes and beauties in a full year. As a university whose specialty is health, we aimed to improve ourselves and progress in this field. I would like to congratulate all our graduates, stating that we will always be with them as they send off our graduates to their professional lives."
Our Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih GÜLTEKİN gave valuable advice to our graduating students with short stories. Addressing the young graduates by saying "It is a privilege to graduate from Lokman Hekim University," GÜLTEKİN said, "You are the pride of this university. Always carry the pride of being a Lokman Hekim graduate. We will always be with you on your life journey."
Graduates of the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Pharmacy and Faculty of Health Sciences took their first steps into their professional lives by taking their professional oaths. While the winners of the faculties, departments and programs received their gifts from our Chairman of the Board of Trustees and our Rector and Vice Rectors, the ceremony was full of emotional moments with the speeches made by the winners. The excitement of our graduates, who received their diplomas from their professors, was reflected in their eyes and made their families very proud.
The ceremonies for our graduates from the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Health Sciences; Nutrition and Dietetics, Midwifery, Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, Nursing Departments, Faculty of Sports Sciences; Coaching Education, Sports Management and Recreation Departments and 11 programs in the Vocational School of Health Services ended with a cap throwing ceremony.
